The height of all doors must be a minimum of 6.5 ft (1.98 m). When a doorway is part of the means of escape it must be a minimum of 24 in (61 cm) wide for bathrooms and rooms under 70 ft 2 (6.4 m 2) all others must be a minimum of 28 in (71.1 cm) wide.
